This was a project I CASED from a fellow Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator and added a few steps to it

Directions:

1. Begin by cutting out our shapes needed. Using the Whisper White, cut out a piece large enough to fit into your frame. I used a 5×7” Frame. I used the piece of paper that came into the frame to cut my shape. Also using the whisper white cardstock, you want to cut out a star. Our retired star framelits work excellent for this or you can use a stencil or print off a star and fussy cut. Using the Real Red Cardstock, I cut out the long wavy thinlets. I needed 3 of these shapes in the Real Red. With the Night of Navy you want to cut out one of the large circle from the framelit set. The Night of Navy we will be also fussy cutting out to match the curves of the real red waves.

2. Lay out the three red waves across the white cardstock making sure that the pieces are all going the same way. Lay them out so you have three going from top to bottom. Using the multi propose glue, add some onto the corner of your silicone mat. Using the sponge, sponge the glue onto the back of the middle flag wave. Glue the piece down. Repeat for the bottom wave. Before you do the same to the top wave, we need to add the Night of Navy Piece to create the stars on. I added a bit of glue onto the back of my Night of Navy piece of cardstock then glued it onto the left side of my top wave. Using my snips, I cut along the edge of the wave. Now you can glue this piece down to the piece of whisper white cardstock. If you have any of the retired Metallic Shapes you can use the white stars and glue these down, if not you can draw in your own stars with the White Chalk Marker.

3. Add your Night of Navy swirly circle to the lower right side of your flag. Add your star on top of the circle. I added a metallic star into the center of mine, however you could use a 4 cut out with our large number Framelits or add the new solider silhouette stamp fussy cut over the star. The possibilities are endless on how to personalize your flag framed art to display in your home.
